About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144h Visa-Free in Kunming

Hi! I'm planning to fly from Hanòi (Vietnam) to Kunming (Changshui International Airport) and afterwards I'm planning to leave by train from the Kunming Station to Laos (Luan Prabang). Can I apply for the 144h Visa-Free in China? Or it necessary to fly in and out Kunming Changshui International Airport?

At present, the visa-free transit is only eligible to those fly in and out Kunming airport.
