About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Visa for Australian passport holders

Hello I am angel I hold an Australia passport I am travelling to London from Australia but I am Transit into china will be in the airport about 16 hours do I need a visa ? To transit or any health documents

Yes, you will have to take a DIY covid test and make a photo of the result. Also, you have to fill out the Health Declaration Form. Both easy to do... It is quite possible that you will not be asked for any of the two mentioned details, but you should do them for your peace of mind.

If your transit time in China is 16 hours, you are covered by 24 hour visa free transit and you do not need any kind of visa. If you want, you can apply, upon landing, for a temporary entry permit at 24/144 counter. This permit is free of charge and it will allow you to exit the airport, to explore the city where you have your transit and to have an overnight in the city.
