About:Visa on Arrival

VOA ShenZhen from Hong Kong

Hi, my friends and i would be visiting Hong Kong this June and from there, i would like to travel to ShenZhen via LuoHu Port. May i ask if we are eligible for VOA if we are travlling by ourselves (free-and-easy).

Yes, you are definitely eligible for a 5 days Shenzhen visa on arrival at Luohu, but you are advised to be there not later than 09:00 because the visa office is quite under the pressure by many applications and the waiting times are long. This is the reason why you are advised to take a morning ferry by CKS from Hong Kong to Shekou in Shenzhen because the waiting times are noticeably shorter. You should just to be aware of the Shekou visa office opening hours: 9:00 - 13:00 & 14:30 - 16:30.
