About:Visa on Arrival

HK to Shenzhen

Hi, Norwegian passport traveling from Hong Kong by train to Shenzhen. Traveling with someone with a US passport. Does the train station in Shenzhen have a visa office?

No, it doesn't. In other words, the train travel in order to obtain a Shenzhen VOA was never an eligible option if you think about a high speed train. You are advised to use Luohu (Lo Wu) or Huanggang border crossings, but you should have in mind that visa offices are open just until 16:30.

One more detail... Usual price, for Norwegian citizens included is 168 CNY, but for US citizens is quite steep 956 CNY.
