About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

240 hours visa

Traveling from Los Angeles to HK, then goin to GZ for 3 days, then to Guilin for 2 days, then back to HK for 2 days and go back go LA does that work?

Sorry, it does not qualify for the 240h visa-free transit as you will go back to HK, which makes your whole itinerary a round trip to HK, not an international transit. You can go back to LA from Mainland China without a layover in HK to fit in the 240; or take a ferry to Macau to create a transirt route, then proceed to HK.

Perfect,

So this will be our itinerary.

HK to GZ, then GZ to Guili and Guili to Macau, then Macau to HK.. that will work right?

If yes, i will need to have everything already book to show to the migration officers right?

Yes, it will work and you need to show your ticket to Macau within 10 days and hotel reservations in Chinese mainland to obtain the 240h visa free transit at West Kowloon railway station if you travel by train, which is the choice of most travelers.
