About:Visa on Arrival

VOA from HK for 4 Day Visit

Hello

I am South African and would like to visit Shenzhen for 4 days. Can I get a VISA on Arrival? I haven't had a VISA before.

This is definitely highly doubtful. This visa usually correlates with 53 citizenships that are eligible for 144 hours visa free transit and South Africa is not among them with the exception of those who were granted Chinese visa before (in the past). You can try, but I am afraid that the chances that you will be rejected are quite high. In any case, if you decide to try, you should visit Luohu border crossing and have in mind that visa office is open just until 16:30.
