I am going to UK in December and hopefully be able to return I have a three years family visa which runs out in 2023 I was told that Chinese government has again cancelled all foreign personel from returning I want to know if that's true

Richard, yes, China has suspended the entry of UK nationals recently due to the rising epidemic cases.
