Transition L visa to an X visa

Is it possible to transfer from a tourist visa to an X1 or X2 visa within China ? Are there likely to be any Language schools within China that can do this at this time? I'm interested in doing a full time or part time Chinese course but my L visa will run out. I have already used up my 2 month extension +30 days. Thanks

Ashley, yes, it's possible to change a tourist visa to an X visa within China. There are some language schools that can do this, but you need to first contact one to help you.
