About:China Tourist Visa

Need for giving hotel info on second trip

Hi:
Trips booked:
Toronto - Shanghai 5 days.
Shanghai - Bangkok ~40 days.
Bangkok - Beijing 7 days
Beijing - Toronto.
We intend to apply for a Tourist multiple entry visa (10 years limited by passport expiry)
Do we need to state second stay (Beijing)? since visa is multiple entries.
Do we have to give hotel info for the Beijing stay?

Actually, you can check whether you can make use of the 144h visa-free transit. As the layover time counts from the day following your entry, you can stay a little more than 144 hours. So if possible, you may not need to apply for a visa.

Thank you for your quick reply. I was not aware of the 144 hr visa.
However, my main point is that I will apply for a 10 year visa. Arrive in Shanghai and stay over 6 days.
After Shanghai, I will be in Thailand for 40 days. I will then return from Bangkok to Beijing and stay 8 days.
Question is: Do I have to declare the Beijing trip on my initial application for the 10 yr visa?
