24 hours TWOV applies. That exception for Guangzhou was in place for a few weeks quite a long time ago, but it has been dropped for at least a year now, I think.

But my question here WILL Guangzhou airport accept entry permit from Sanya aurport? In my ticket it has not shown Sanya as a main stop. It just gives a notice that the flight from London to Guangzhou has a technical stop at Sanya(SYX) for two hours. So WILL I get off the flight for custom clearance or not? I check and see no boarding to my flight from SanYa but get off from my flight is available since ticket from london to sanya on my flight cz652 availble for sale online. very worried that 2h not enough time for immigration check!!!!waiting for your advice! You clear immigration at your first landing. Two hours is plenty of time. Temporary entry permit is separate from TWOV, it’s not guaranteed for same-day connections.
