About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Bijing - Tokoyo

I assume I don't need any kind of visa for traveling from US to Bijing for 3 days and fly out of Bijing to Japan. The 144 free visa should apply to my plan and all I need to fill out the form at the Bijing airport?
