Hotel stay in Zhengzhou during 14hour layover

Hi, I am Korean and fly to London via Zhengzhou with 14hour layover by China Eastern Airline. Can I go out from the airport to stay at the airport hotel during my layover time under 24 hour visa free rule? Thanks in advance

Actually, you will travel by China Southern :)

You will print out your flight tickets and a confirmation of your accommodation booking in Zhengzhou. Also, you will declare at check-in in Seoul that you will travel to London via Zhengzhou using 24 hour visa free transit. After a short inspection of your flight tickets, you will be allowed to board the plane. Here you will inform yourself about a luggage policy. Your luggage will be probably tagged all the way to London, but that also may not be a case. Inform yourself about this detail!

Upon your arrival in Zhengzhou, you will approach 24 hour visa free transit counter where you will apply for a temporary entry permit to be allowed to exit the airport. Since your layover is a long one and with a confirmation of your accommodation booking, you will be granted a permit practically for certain. After a permit is granted, you will exit the airport and spend the time in the city and/or in your accommodation.
