Guangzhou 144hour visa wave program transpotation

Is it must to use airplain or can I use high speed train from hongkong. Just say in GUangzhou province only

You can only enter Guangzhou from HK by plane and high speed train is not available for the 144-hour visa-free transit.

Hi , are you sure I can not enter toGuangzhou from Hong Kong by train? First time in China and I was planning to enter by train and go from ther up to Beijing to catch my flight back to USA

Hi, Miguel, you can only enter by train if you have a Chinese visa. It is not possible to enter by train using 144-hour visa-free transit. What's more, your itinerary HK- Guangzhou - Beijing - USA is not eligible for the visa-free transit, either. You need to adjust your itineraries or obtain a China visa in advance.
