About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do I need to apply for a 144hour visa-free transit for the following question?

I am a Canadian with a Canadian passport. My cruise from Singapore ends in Hong Kong.
Q.1- If I stay in Hong Kong to visit for 2 days?
Q.2- If I leave Hong Kong the same day and fly to Japan?
Q.3 - If I leave Hong Kong the same day for Canada?

HK doesn't issue the 144 as they don't have such a policy which is made by Mainland China and issued by Mainland China. And you don't need to apply for the 144 if your trip route is like Singapore - HK - Japan / Canada.

Lew, since you are a Canadian citizen and you, obviously do not have intention to travel to mainland China, then you are informed that you do not need to fulfill any formality as far as visa free transit scheme of concerned because you just need your passport to enter, stay and depart Hong Kong absolutely visa free as if you were going to, for example any EU country or US...
