About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

London to Beijing international to hanoi

I have an 19 hour stop over in Beijing international airport from 6.30am to 1.30am. Which visa do I qualify for? And will it allow me to leave the airport and explore the city? Also do I need to book a hotel in order to be let through?

You don't need any kind of visa for the transit.

If the immigration will give you a temporary entry permit to leave the airport is up to the officer in duty.
There's no guarantee that you'll get one.
