About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

Traveling to Beijing from Australia, can I travel to Hong kong and Macau under the China Visa?

I am travelling to China from Australia for holiday as a tourist. I want to travel from Beijing to Shanghai via bullet train, is it possible also to travel from Shanghai to Hong Kong and Macau with Bullet train? Will I need separate visa to enter Hong Kong and Macau?

Sofia, you can travel from Shanghai to Hong Kong and Macau with bullet train. As an Australian, you don't need visa to enter Hong Kong and Macau.
