About:China Visa Application in USA

Visa Question

I am traveling to Shanghai (and Yongkang, Yuwi) on business from Feb. 15-21. I live in Seymour, IN. How long will it take to receive visa? Do I have to apply in person? It looks like the closest embassy is in Chicago.

Normally it takes four working days to receive visa. You can either apply in person or ask an agent to do this for you. Yes, you are right. You should apply from the Chinese consulate in Chicago.
