Application question for Chinese Visa

There is a question for applying for a chinese visa for Canadians on item 5.5 Family member(s) - do they require a list of my immediate family members? Don't know why they ask this as below this question there are item #5.5A 5.5B, 5.5d and 5.5D requiring mother and fathers information and also names, addresses and occupation of my children.
Not quite sure how to answer 5.5 Family member(s) question.

Carol, you need to put in the basical personal information of your mother, dad, spouse, and kids. It's just the requirement.
