About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Seoul - Beijing - Shanghai - Tokyo

Hello, I have a question. I am flying in from the US and will stop in South Korea first. Will I qualify for a “144 hour transit visa” if I fly in from Seoul to Beijing. Explore for 2 days. Take a bullet train to Shanghai next, stay for 3 days and fly out to Tokyo. Will this qualify? Thank you
