About:Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport

Passport / ticket discrepancy

Hi,

I'm traveling through the airport for transit. I have found out that there is a difference between my ticket name and passport name due to the third party seller not asking for my middle name. E.g. "John Smith" Vs "John Allen Smith".

Is this likely to be an issue passing through this airport? (E.g will I be prevented from boarding)?

It is not a big deal in some countries. But I'm not sure whether it could be a problem when you transit through this airport. You are suggested to confirm with the airline.
