About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Transiting in Guangzhou twice

Hi, if I have return tickets with different airlines from Qatar to Guangzhou and then from Guangzhou to Phuket with staying in Phuket for 2 weeks then can I stay visa free in Guangzhou twice (3 days and 3 days)?
Flights would be:
Doha-Guangzhou-Phuket
Phuket-Guangzhou-Doha
