144 Shanghai question

Hi guys
Just want to clarify, I have a trip coming up as per below
28th Nov -depart lHR / arrive PVG on the 29th
1st Dec - PVG - SIN - LHR.
I only have around 3 hours in Singapore before return flight to London... is that ok or is that minimum time you need to be in the "third country" for before you return to country of origin.
Many thanks

Chinese immigration obviously don't care what you do after you leave China. There's no requirement to even leave the aircraft in the third country. Your route is fine, as long as your LHR-PVG flight is non-stop (or in particular does not stop in Singapore or mainland China).

OK thanks Saul, yep that's what I thought but just wanted to check. I've read a couple of things about using two european countries and this not being valid, is that correct. So AMS-PVG- FRA - Only reason i'm asking is I may have to amend mine to LHR -PVG - HEL - LHR... Any advice? thank you.

The Netherlands and Germany are different countries, and that would be fine. LHR-PVG-HEL-LHR is ok. LHR-HEL-PVG-LHR is ok. LHR-HEL-PVG-HEL-LHR is not ok.
