About:Overstaying in China & Penalty

Is it possible to have marriage visa after overstaying in China

My friend has overstayed for 3 years now and he wants to come back to Nigeria with his Chinese girlfriend and get married to her, can they apply for Chinese marriage visa

Not until he sort out his troubles with the authorities. Unlawful employment comes with a maximum 20,000 CNY fine plus detention for no more than 15 days. Visa overstay is 10,000 or another 15-day detention. Guangdong province, assuming that's where he lives, usually assesses the maximum penalty for a Nigerian, and that means he may be banned for 10 years, during which period he would not be granted any visas to visit or reside in China.

Im staying in China for more than 2 years without visa.....wants the penalty I will get in the airport because I want to leave soon

You can't get your penalties sorted out at the airport as immigration will stop you from leaving the country even if you have a ticket. Instead you must go to the police before departing so they can assess the fines outlined in the previous post.
