Visa 144 h Lyon-Shanghai-hong- lyon

I don't think you can fly non-stop Lyon to Shanghai. Where is your connection? If it's in Hong Kong then you'll need a visa.

I already have my ticket lyon shanghai - shanghai lyon direct flights . I m french but i can't take visa as i'm not in France right now. I was wondering if I change my flights and do Lyon - Shanghai , stay 144 h in shanghai, then go to Hong Kong and back to Lyon.
Would you think it will works ?
Do you have any suggestions to make it work , basically my situation is i Can't take any visa , but want to be in shanghai (seeing my girlfriend ;)
I have flexible ticket so i can play with it

it's a Lyon Paris Shanghai onward
Shanghai Amsterdam lyon back

Now it is clearer! France-China-Netherlands is fine for 144 hours visa-free in Shanghai. Also, France-China-Hong Kong would work. Only the flights immediately before China and immediately after China are relevant at all.
