Yes, you are, but have in mind that you will not be able to use a train. You will have to book a ferry ticket through CKS - Chu Kong Passenger transport company website. You will book a ticket from Shenzhen Shekou port to Hong Kong Macau Ferry terminal. You will receive an e-confirmation that you will print out and take this e-confirmation with you. This will be your proof that you will really travel in transit and you will also use it to collect your real paper ticket at Shenzhen Shekou ferry terminal. Please, have in mind that your ferry scheduled departure has to be at least 24 hour and 1 minute after your scheduled arrival by plane.

If you follow the mentioned instructions and your itinerary, you will be eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in Guangdong province.
