About:Visa on Arrival

Hi there. I intend to apply VOA from HK to Shenzhen with an Australian passport.

Visit only for day or two. I read online rumours there maybe voa issues if i had a stamp from Turkey? I traveled in Turkey 2015 as part of an Europe holiday, but after that also traveled to China in 2018 and 2019 with proper full tourists visas successfully. Would I still get the voa shenzhen given I had it before? Thanks

You will be granted a Shenzhen VOA. Anyway, just have a prepared story to tell about the Turkish stamp. You will plainly tell that your visit to Turkey was part of your wider visit to different European countries and that your points of interests were historical heritage, natural beauties and gastronomy. Of course, you will not tell that you were interested about religion, cultural exchange, politics and of course, you will deny that you maybe have any friends and relatives there.
