i am traveling from amsterdam to hangzhou airport

Then take another flight (probably KLM) to Guangzhou, Baiyun airport. Would 1 hour and 20 min be enough   for to get to my flight? Also would I have to pick up my own luggage or do they transfer it to the plane?

Did you purchase the interline tickets? If yes, you can catch the next flight. If not, I am afraid that the time is not enough. In general, 2.5 to 3 hours are the suitable transfer time.
