About:Visa on Arrival

French passport with algerian stamp in it

Hi, I'm french and hold french passport but last year I visited Algeria and have an algerian stamp in my passport, will it be possible to get this 5-days VOA in Shenzhen? Thank you

It will not be a problem, although you can expect that you are asked to shortly explain the reason of your travel to Algeria. Just think about the most benign reason like tourism, architecture or a visit to historical sites when Algeria was part of France or similar. Anyway, you should refrain from answers like journalism, humanitarian reasons, having a member of family there or similar. By the way, you are advised to have your accommodation booking done for at least for the first night of your 5 day stay because it will increase the seriousness of your application. Just be relaxed, have a prepared benign story and you will be just fine. Guaranteed :)
