Transferring need visa at Pu Dong airport

Hi!
I booked the flight from Canada to Vietnam (Vietnamese passport holder) with china eastern airlines (same airline transfer - and also with return flight).
I have a 4h layover at Pu Dong airport. Do I need to ask for visa to flight to transfer flight at Pu Dong? I am not planning to go out of the airport.
