About:Beijing Capital Airport T3

transferring domestic/international

My husband is flying into Beijing from a domestic flight then transferring to an international flight in the same terminal his luggage will already be checked through to the international flight does he need to "check in" again and pass through security? He will be leaving mid-August thanks

He doesn't need to check in but need to go through security and the immigration during the transit.
