About:China Tourist Visa

Hi, I'm traveling from Canada to Pakistan. I have a 24hr lay over. Do I need a visa to enter China

I'm a Canadian Citizen, and if I wanted to do like a small day tour of China while I have a 24hr lay over in Beijing, would I still require a visa to enter China?

Well, is Beijing the only city during your transit to Pakistan? If yes, you can enjoy the visa-free transit and you are allowed to leave the airport to tour around the city.
