About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Cruise Ship Eligibility

We arrive into Xiamen by cruise ship for an 8am to 6pm stop then travel by the same ship to Shanghai for a 2 day stop after 1 day at sea. Do we qualify for this 72 hr visa?
We hold Australian and NZ passports respectively.

You need a tourist (L) visa because of the multiple stops in China.

Is that a multiple entry visa or will the single entry suffice?
