About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

24 hour visa free transit eligibility

Hi,

I am travelling with a Malaysian passport on China Southern Airlines via this route:
- Auckland to Guangzhou, (Baiyun Intl)
- 2 hour stopover in Guangzhau
- Guangzhou, (Baiyun Intl) to Kuala Lumpur.

Am I eligible for the 24 hour free entry permit, or do I need to apply for Visa Category G before I travel?

You are definitely eligible for 24 hour visa free transit in Beijing and you don't need any kind of visa.
