About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu

144 hour USA Free

I am wanting to book a flight from the USA to Shanghai and return back to the USA from Shanghai 72 hours later. Do I need to get a visa, or does this qualify for the 144 hour policy?
