Thanks for the answer. Due to a last minute change, my trip will most likely be different :
Tokyo (Japan) => A : Seoul (South Korea) => B : Nanjing (China) stay in Nanjing less than 96h => C : Paris (France) through Shanghai (China). Would I still qualify for the visa free transit ? My understanding is that as Shanghai and Nanjing are in the same free transit area, the domestic flight from Nanjing to Shanghai to get my flight back to Paris would not be an issue. If this domestic flight compromises the visa free transit, would it be acceptable to go by train from Nanjing to Shanghai and then catch the direct flight from Shanghai back to Paris ?
