About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

London to Tokyo via Beijing - would like to stop over from tokyo to London

British passport holder going to Tokyo via Beijing with a 2.5 hours flight connection time. However on the way back from Tokyo to London I would like to stop over in Beijing for 4 days. Can I use the option transit without visa?

Yes, you can, as long as you are sure that you don't have other landings in mainland China except the region of Beijing - Tianjin - Hebei.
