About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit in Guangdong

My friends are going to come to Shenzhen by using 144 hour fee visa.

their route is Korea [9/29]-> Shenzhen[9/31] -> Hong Kong.

When they go to Hong Kong from Shenzhen, they are considered to use high speed train [Shenzhen north -> Hong Kong Kowloon. is this e-ticket valid as a required document for the visa?
I think the ticket includes passport number.

This won't work because on the high-speed rail Chinese immigration is done in Hong Kong.

The Chu Kong website says the Shenzhen Shekou to HK ferry was cancelled on 6 December 2018.

The only option that can be used from Shenzhen to Hong Kong is a ferry departing from Shenzhen Shekou port provided by Chu Kong Passenger Transport company. Upon booking you will receive an e-confirmation with the name and passport number and you will collect your ticket at Shekou terminal.

As already mentioned by Gus, it is definitely impossible to use a high speed train or any other mean of transport beside the mentioned ferry from Shekou.

The ferry is not cancelled. The ferry is fully functional. You can freely book a ticket and use it for your transfer. There are from 8 to 9 daily departures. Please, don't listen to malicious disinformation.

I just booked the ticket from ChuKong company, but the E-ticket doens't show the passenger informations..... how should we do...?

of course i sent them email, but they said it's a firm form so they cannot add the additional information, such as passport.. ...........wow. so no way to use 144hours from shenzhen to hk..???????????? sad
