You need to apply for the M visa. You should go to the China embassy in Qatar and submit following documents:
1. Passport
2. A completed Visa Application Form and one passport-size Photo
3. Proof of legal stay or residence status. You must provide the original and photocopy of your valid identification, such as ID Card or Residence Permit (with at least six months of remaining validity).
4. Original letter from your work place with your name, passport number, position, years worked/start date, salary, company stamp, date and signature. The letter should be issued to the consulate section of Chinese embassy within one month from the day you submit your application.
5.Documents showing the itinerary including air ticket booking record (round trip) and proof of a hotel reservation, etc..
6. An invitation letter issued by an individual in China.
