About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Departing from Helsinki (Finland) via Hong Kong to Shanghai. Return from Shanghai to Helsinki

Is it ok to depart (by airplane) from Helsinki (Finland) via Hong Kong and arrive in Shanghai and then return from Shanghai to Helsinki or does it have to be the other way around (Helsinki-Shanghai-Hong Kong-Helsinki)?

Either one is fine, your next landing just cant be the same country you landed in China from
