About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144 hr free tourist visa

We are flying from Brisbane short stopover in Singapore then onto Shanghai. Arriving about 7.00 am. We leave. China 7.00 pm next night on cruise ship are we eligible for 144 hr visa?

Yes, you are, but your itinerary has to fulfill the following condition:

- Your first port of call, immediately after Shanghai, should not be in mainland China or in Singapore.

If the above mentioned condition is fulfilled, you are definitely eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in Shanghai area. Please, use correct terminology and not the wrong one like "144 hr free tourist visa". Simply speaking, there is no visa at all.
