I’m Filipino works in qatar, how can I get visa? When can I get it?

I’m going vacation in Philippines this December, my Qatar residence permit will expire in December but the company will renew it in October before I go Philippines. My sister in Philippines will book a trip for us in China dated December 9-12, should I get tourist visa from your embassy here in Qatar? Is there any issue with my residency status? I might get an appointment in your embassy before my it will be renewed, is that ok? what are the requirements if I need to get the visa from here? how long it will take to get visa? hope u can help me because my sister, daughter and I would love to visit China.
