I’m Filipino works in qatar, how can I get visa? When can I get it?

I’m going vacation in Philippines this December, my Qatar residence permit will expire in December but the company will renew it in October before I go Philippines. My sister in Philippines will book a trip for us in China dated December 9-12, should I get tourist visa from your embassy here in Qatar? Is there any issue with my residency status? I might get an appointment in your embassy before my it will be renewed, is that ok? what are the requirements if I need to get the visa from here? how long it will take to get visa? hope u can help me because my sister, daughter and I would love to visit China. Thank you.

Maria, you can get it from the embassy in Qatar as you have a work permit there. However, I advise you to apply for it after you have renewed your residence permit. The required documents may include your passport, application form, recent photo, Qatar residence permit, and round trip tickets and hotel booking. It normally takes four working days for the processing.
