tourism visa application for lebanese student in singapore

Question

Hello I am a Lebanese citizen who will be residing in Singapore for the last four months of my MBA program at INSEAD university. I want to apply to the Chinese visa 6-months before I go to Singapore because I am sure we are going to embark on a student trip to China while we are at university. Yet, I am not sure of the dates of this travel. Can I still process the visa without having a flight and a hotel booking (I can show documents of money availability to book flights/hotel, but I don't want to book and cancel later in case of date changes)?Thanks,

you could wirte down a possible date when apply for a China visa, but the flight and hotel booking tickets are necessary unless you have the invitation letter of the student trip.
