About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Tourist visa application

I will be entering China on 17th October 2025 from the UK and will be leaving 29th October to go to Japan with no re entry in to China. How soon can i apply for my visa and how long is the period between completing the online application to being able to present my documents at the Chinese embassy. Also do i have to wait to make my appointment at the embassy until i have received my online confirmation?

You are advised to apply three months before departure, and have to wait for the confirmation email before submitting the documents offline. It’s unsure how long it will take to process the online application.
