About:China Visa

Inquiry about x1 study visa

Dear sir.
I live in Wuhan, china from 3 years and I have family residency for 4 years with my husband because he is phd student. I am from Egypt. Now I got csc master scholarship from Wuhan University and they want me to get x1 study visa . Can I travel to Cambodia and apply for x1 study visa ?

Dear, I advise you to stay in China and see if you can convert your S1 visa to an X type and then renew your residence permit directly at Wuhan Exit and Entry Administration. It's risky to apply for it in Cambodia if you are just a tourist there.
