About:Overstaying in China & Penalty

My two friends overstay their visa and currently want to exit but don’t know how !

One overstay for 6 months now and the other over stay for three years now ! What can they and what will happen to them ?

well, you should surrender youself to the local police station, pay the fine (CNY 10,000) and then apply for an exit permit to leave China.
