About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Can I apply for a student visa for china in vietnam?

I have been accepted in a university and I have all the forms but I? already live in China and I can't really afford to go back to the U. K so is it okay to? submit the documents to a Chinese embassy in a third country like vietnam?
