About:Hainan 30-Day Visa-Free Access

Indonesian Passsport Holder Entering Hainan

I am overseas Chinese and born in Indonesia, I am Indonesian passport holder, can I apply visa on arrival in Hainan directly without any registration with a Local Travel Agency? What documents should I prepare and how much is it?

No, you should not count on Hainan VOA. This is definitely not a good option and it appears that Chinese authorities are trying to phase out it quietly. I definitely recommend that you apply for 30 day visa free access and travel with a peace of mind. You can decide differently, but honestly I really recommend that you don't go after Hainan VOA. It is much better to have a few emails exchanged with the agency, to book from them, let's say and airport transfer and enjoy your travel.
