Traveling from USA to Bangladesh

In Bangladesh, we use 220V/50Hz. My Iron that i brought from USA has a rating of 120V/ 60 Hz and 1200W. I found an adapter from Amazon which will work in china as well. However, it is also written on the body of that adapter that "it is not a voltage adapter, ......make sure the voltage of the devices matches with the outlet" So will this adapter work for me?

Well, I don't think so. In order to be sure, you are suggested to contact the seller and confirm this.

It will not work because it's not a power converter. However, I got a power converter, which will convert 220V to 110V.
