About:Shanghai 15-day Visa-free Policy for Cruise Tour Groups

I am a Canadian citizen and planning to cruise from Tokyo to Hong Kong with the stop in Shanghai

The cruise ship will stop for 14 hours at the port. Do I need an entry visa for sightseeing in the city?

No, you can do the 24 hour visa free transit in Shanghai as long as no other mainland stops (for example Shenzhen)
