Auckland-beijing- Islamabad Anything required for TWOV ?

hi iim a NZ national I have transit in PEK do i have to do any thing for TWOV also i learnt i might have to fill out a departure card i guess i leave the visa parts on the card blank ? Do I just show them my return ticket and passport?

How long will you stay in the city?
If you stay less than 24 hours, you can enjoy the 24 hours visa free policy. You can follow the steps:
1. Fill an Arrival/Departure Card at the border inspection counter
2. Get the temporary entry permit stamp or sticker
3. Claim the luggage (if needed)
4. Go through the customs

If you stay for more than 24 hours and less than 144 hours, the steps are:
1. Fill an Arrival/Departure Card at the border inspection counter
2. Apply for the 144-hour stay permit upon arrival
3. Claim the luggage (if needed)
4. Go through the customs
